Japan tour. Anne of Green Gables musical.
1992: Choir
of Hiroshima visit.
1993: Buck
County (Philadelphia) and High Park (Toronto) Children's Choir Exchange.
1994: Visit
to Stowe, Vermont.
1995: Participation
to the Niagara International Music Festival.
1997: Participation
in the CBC broadcasted Commonwealth Royal Society service.
Canada Day Celebrations, Ottawa. Exchange with Youth Symphonic Choir of
St-John's New Foundland.
2000: 15th
anniversary celebrations with the Young Limestone Choristers of Kingston,
Ontario. July
2000: Southend Girls Choir, England came to visit in an exchange program.
2001: South
Shore Children’s Choir completed the July 2000 exchange by visiting London,
Canterbury, Maidstone and Southend, England, performing 10 concerts over
the course of the trip. A highlight of this concert tour was the opportunity
to perform on the altar steps of the beautiful Canterbury Cathedral.
2002: The SSCC
released its first CD entitled, "How Can I Keep From Singing?" featuring selections
from the England tour.
2004: The SSCC
celebrated its 20th Anniversary.
2005: Trip to Kingston.
Performed in June at Mondial de Chorale Festival produced by Cregory Charles.
2006: In July,
28 choristers represented Québec at the 10th Anniversary of UNISONG Choral Festival in Ottawa.
In the fall of 2007,
the SSCC, for the fifth year, is invited again to participate in a Youth Choir Gala Concert
sponsored by the CBC and the McGill Conservatory of Music which is broadcast on CBC radio during December.
Past performances
also include concerts with the PSBGM, FACE, Lyric Theater Singers, St-Lambert
Choral Society, I Musici of Montréal Orchestra of Montreal, String
Orchestra of Saint-Lambert and the Montérégie Symphonic
Orchestra.
