The South Shore Children's Chorus consists of 60 students aged nine to sixteen years who represent ten schools in the Riverside School Board and other South Shore schools. Most students live in the various municipalities of the south shore of Montreal, Quebec. The choir was founded in 1985 by Betty- Jo Christiani and is well-known for its high level of performance.
Every year the choir gives many concerts, including a series of recitals in the local schools in the spring, where children from Grade 3 to Secondary 5 have the opportunity to see what choir music is about. Tours and exchanges are also organised regularly. For more information, please read our History.
